A New Package Structure and Pricing for Beaver Builder
Hello, everyone! We have a big announcement to make today about our pricing and package structure. After almost ten years of the same pricing, we’re planning to revamp our subscription offerings for new customers. All existing customers’ subscriptions and plans will remain the same.
Our goal with this change is to simplify the decision-making process for joining the Beaver Builder ecosystem, make it easier to build outstanding websites, and better allocate resources to support you and develop great software.
Here are the key changes:
- All of our packages will include Page Builder, Beaver Builder Theme, and Beaver Themer.
- We’re implementing site limits for support and update in two of the three new packages.
- We’re lowering the price of our least expensive plan, and slightly raising the price of our middle-tier plan.
Below is a screenshot of what our new pricing table will look like.
Why These Changes Are Exciting
With more web building choices than ever, we want to make the decision to try Beaver Builder easier. By reducing the entry-level price and bundling Themer and the Beaver Builder Theme with every package, our hope is that we give everyone access to the best tools for building WordPress websites and continue growing the Beaver Builder family. When more people build with Beaver Builder, everyone wins.
The most successful agencies and web builders using the Beaver Builder platform are using Beaver Themer. When we launched Themer in 2017, it was a new idea and an innovative tool that we felt justified being a stand-alone product. Now, we want to remove the extra hurdle so everyone can have access to the most powerful web building tools we offer.
Lastly, by including Themer and the BB Theme in the starter package, we believe it will be easier to encourage clients to maintain their own Beaver Builder license. For years, we’ve seen friction when someone takes over a Beaver Builder website but doesn’t have access to the license or support system. While many people include software licenses and support as part of a care package, the option of having your clients own their own license is now much more realistic.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why implement site limits now?
We somewhat famously proclaimed our distaste for WordPress plugins implementing site limits many years back. We’re stepping back on this approach for a few reasons, mainly, site limits will allow us to better plan and allocate resources. We crunched the numbers, and the vast majority of our users would not be affected by the site limits we’re putting in place.
Will site limits include staging sites?
No. Through some domain rules inspired by our friends at ACF, staging and development sites won’t count towards your install count.
When will the new pricing go live?
On September 10th, 2024.
More questions?
We’re announcing this price change a few weeks before implementing it in hopes that we can get feedback and answer as many questions as possible. Please don’t hesitate to reach out here, on Facebook, or through our support channels with any questions or comments about the upcoming change.
As always, we appreciate your support, and we are as excited about the future of Beaver Builder and WordPress as ever.

I can’t begin to say how helpful this is to those of us who use the full BB kit for client sites. Specifically it makes it easier for us to persuade users to signup for their own full licence. The previous cost (and complexity) was a tough sell for clients. So thank you!
(Also, hope to see you again in Portland.
Thanks, David! Looking forward to seeing you in Portland as well.
Great news! Will existing customers who already purchased the Beaver Builder Pro plugin also get Beaver Themer?
Thank you.
Unfortunately, no, but we’re going to take this on a case-by-case basis and might be able to switch you to a new subscription.
The new pricing and package structure for Beaver Builder makes it easier for everyone to access powerful tools, streamlining website building for agencies and freelancers alike.
Hi Robbie!
This is great change! It’s always been a bit of a stretch to convince single-site clients to buy the whole package under the old plan. Combining Themer with standard Beaver Builder (and the theme is a nice addon) into an $89/year package is a lot easier.
And that of course makes it easier on long-time agency folks like myself!
Thanks again.
Is the starter beaver builder license for $89.00. only good for one year?
Yes. All licenses include one year of support and updates.
Not good, Customer since 2016.
For three sites, would cost me $200 now, it will cost me $300. I am already a customer, but I do not renew exactly every year, I wait a few months to stretch the non profit dollars.
So yes the new pricing will affect me. Unfortunately for me, I will start looking to something cheaper, Divi or Elementor.
Besides, this BB does not have many fancy visuals like Divi and Elementor which has made me want to more some years ago. How can Web Hosting cost less then the theme?
Thanks Robby,
I think this is an eminently sensible move. I also appreciate you leaving existing customer plans untouched, completely in keeping with your fair and honest approach to doing business.
This is actually quite helpful for the rare cases when a client moves off a care plan and needs to get their own licence for a single site. Bundling Themer and the builder together removes friction at that point.
Looking forward to many more years using Beaver Builder.
Thanks, Hugues! We appreciate the feedback and kind words!
Beaver Themer + Beaver Theme and Beaver Builder are meant for each other. I always felt they should be 1 single product, because the deep integration, especially lately with global settings.
I love Beaver Builder and write this because I want you to become more popular. The page builder space is super competitive at the moment.
The problem with your plan is a new designer (not a legacy account) that makes say 12 websites a year will find themselves in the 50 plus category in a short time even though their income from building all those sites has likely already gone and their income never actually went up.
If you charged based on the number of activations per year it would be much fairer.
We appreciate the feedback! One thought we had is that it will be easier for folks to recommend their clients to purchase and maintain their own license now that the Theme + Themer can are included in the $89/year package.
Sorry to hear this. I do a lot of work pro bono and for non profit and poor folks, and this will force me to look elsewhere. I’m not interested in the Beaver Themer or the Beaver Theme, but now you’re forcing people to buy them whether they want to or not. Not a good move in my opinion, but hey, you do you.
Sorry to hear that. If you have an existing subscription, nothing is going to change for you. And/or, you can purchase one of our existing plans for the next week or two before the pricing change takes place and lock in the unlimited sites deal.

Check out my response to Mark’s similar question. Unfortunately, no, but we will consider switching your subscription to a new package on a case-by-case basis.
