Beaver Builder 2.8 is Coming
💥 We just released the first public build of Beaver Builder 2.8, which includes some MAJOR new features:
- The Box Module
- Global Styles
- Global Colors
If you’d like to help us test the new features, you can find development builds on your My Account page.
Simply look for a button that says “Download and test an upcoming release.”

So I tried the demo and the functionality is a game-changer for BB layouts.
That being said, the need to nest box modules to make modules “grid-span” is unnecessarily complicated if you don’t need to group the modules in that box-cell.
If the “Size and placement” fields were present on all direct decendants of the box-module. Then advanced layouts would be much easier to manage. With less markup aswell.
Oh, and add an aspect ratio/object fit to the image module pleace 😉
